Charter Policies
Reservations are
confirmed upon receipt of a $300.00 non refundable
reservation deposit ($400.00 for a full week rental)
within 10 days of booking. Certified check, cash and
VISA accepted.
A confirmation package
will be sent to you upon receiving your reservation
deposit. It will contain your receipt and confirmation
of your dates, information on the river system, a list
of items for you to bring and a B/W copy of the map on
board.

persons under 21 years of age.
Damage Deposit
Your reservation deposit
will be held as your damage deposit until the end of
your trip at which time it will be refunded to you in
full, less the fuel you use.
If there is damage to the
prop, lost, broken, or damaged inventory items, late
returns, excessively unclean boats, a substantial noise
complaint or any damage resulting from negligent or
irresponsible operation of or activity on the houseboat,
outstanding charges will then apply.
The boat is sent out with
a full tank of fuel and upon return to Flood’s Landing
is refueled.
Charges for refueling
will be deducted from your damage deposit along with any
other outstanding charges and the balance will be
refunded to you.
Payment of Charter Fees
The total charter fee is
due and payable in full 30 days prior to departure.
Charter fees are payable in cash, certified checks or
VISA.
Charter fees are
determined as follows:
a) Ontario Federal sales
tax as applicable
b) GST is applicable
c) fuel-whatever you use.
Insurance
Abitibi River Houseboat
Expeditions carries public liability on our charter
houseboats. Individuals will be responsible for any
damage incurred while the houseboat is in their care,
custody or control.
